The first known ancestor, Henry Gibbons, was born circa 1655 in Accomack Co., Virginia. Henry married Frances circa 1680 in Accomack Co. Their children were: John (b. ca. 1682); Henry, Jr. (ca. 1690-1753); David (b. ca. 1692); Sarah (b. ca. 1696); and Ellinor (b. ca. 1694). All children were born in Accomack County, Va.
